Got an idea for a game?
We are looking for new games to join our growing slate. if you have an idea you would like to pitch to us, please read the following information carefully before submitting:
Submissions should be:
-
Party Games
Games for 2-8 players that take around 20-30 minutes to play. Something you might start or end the night with. The surefire hit to get everyone in the mood.
-
Accessible for non-gamers
In both rules and theming. The kind of game you could picture playing with the whole family at Christmas. A game you’d squeeze into your suitcase before your holiday with friends.
-
Sociable
Mechanics that hinge on bluffing, deduction, betting, risk taking and knowledge of your fellow players. The kind of games that provoke big reactions and bigger laughs.
-
Thematically Light
No generic fantasy. Supernatural or mythical themes are fine, as long as the vibe is playful. We particulary love games where the mechanics spring from everyday scenarios (like Sushi Go!).
-
Small- to medium-sized
Ideally centered on cards or other simple elements. We want portable games that pack a punch. Game pieces have to earn their place in the box.
-
Playable
Your submission doesn't need to be polished or finalised. It doesn't need any art, and names can be placeholder. But it must have a written set of rules and be fully playable, from start to finish.
Submissions should not:
- Involve complex mechanics, maths or heavy rules interactions.
- Take longer than about 30 minutes.
- Include miniatures or other complex game pieces.
- Take longer to explain than about 3-5 minutes.
- Rely on parallel play (ie. individual players working by themselves) rather than interaction.
